Surface conditioning
Prior to the plating process, a surface must be cleaned to offer a perfectly pure substrate to receive a metallic finish with good adhesion. Dirt and oxides must be removed in appropriate conditions. Our extensive surface preparation experience enables us to provide our customers with a synthetic approach and a complete line of cleaners.
Multimetal Cleaners
Multimetal cleaners are all-purpose mild alkaline processes. They are inhibited against attack on most metals and can be used safely on zinc die-cast, aluminum, copper alloys, and ferrous metals. Our processes are formulated to operate as soak cleaners and/or electro-cleaners to effectively remove oils, grease, or stains.
