Mid-Low Phosphorus Electroless Nickel

ENOVA EF 163

ENOVA EF 163

ENOVA EF 163 is formulated to produce a bright and uniform deposit that achieves a high hardness and produces a very wear resistant coating. The system achieves deposition rates that average 0.8 mils/hr (20 μm/hr) over the entire solution life.

Operational advantage

The system is highly tolerant to contaminants and has a wide operating window. It exhibits excellent solution stability over a prolonged solution life and is easy to operate and control.

Deposit performance

ENOVA EF 163 deposits match more expensive and harder to operate EN-boron films and is superior to other Ni-P coatings. It exhibits lower intrinsic tensile stress resulting in improved adhesion as well as little to no effect on the fatigue strength of alloy and/or high-strength substrates. The deposits produced are ideal for critical wear applications when heat treatment is not possible or practical.
