IRIDITE™ TCP System

IRIDITE TCP™ System is a transparent passivation for aluminum based on Chrome-III compounds. It can be applied as post-treatment for pure, alloyed, and cast aluminum and produces a colorless to slightly iridescent protective film.

Bare corrosion resistance

Passivated layers obtained provide bare, unpainted corrosion resistance values matching hexavalent chromium containing yellow chromate passivates.

Enhanced adhesion

The system is suitable for adhesive and paint applications, providing improved performance and extending the service life of the treated parts.

Operational advantage

Single or double component options are available, enabling better control of the process and enhancing adhesion and corrosion resistance properties.
