TRISTAR SHIELD™
TRISTAR SHIELD™ is a hexavalent chromium-free electrolytic process that optimizes decorative chromium deposits, providing higher neutral salt spray resistance and improved resistance to humidity. It offers unique temporary storage protection to trivalent chromium-plated parts and provides the same performance as chromic acid-based hexavalent chromium passivation treatments traditionally applied over chrome deposits.
